A week of sad space anniversaries
Today is the 30th anniversary of the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster. Yesterday was the anniversary of the Apollo 1 fire that killed the crew in 1967. And February 1 is the anniversary of the loss of Space Shuttle Columbia on reentry.
