Democrats on the House Oversight Committee release 19 photos from the Epstein estate

A batch of photos dropped this morning. They were turned over to the House Oversight Committee by the Epstein estate and show Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Steve Bannon, Larry Summers, Woody Allen, Prince Andrew, and other powerful figures.

Democrats on the committee selected nineteen images from a much larger collection — roughly ninety-five thousand photos pulled from Epstein’s email account and one of his laptops. The images don’t tell us much we didn’t already know. They add little new detail about Epstein’s long-documented connections to people in politics, business, media, and academia. Epstein isn’t in all of the photos, and it’s unclear who took some of them or how they ended up in his possession.

The photos were released without much explanation. No related emails were included, and there’s no clear context for when or why they were taken. In several images, women’s faces were blacked out. Democrats said that was done to protect the identities of possible victims.

Still, Democrats said the timing was deliberate. The Justice Department faces a deadline next Friday to release its investigative files on Epstein — though large portions are expected to remain sealed.
